Wintertime

Today’s Post

Brrrrrrr it’s getting cold outside my peeps.

today I had to put on a coat, scarf, gloves, & boots! Really?

Well let’s face it I do live in Wisconsin and on any given day it can

SNOW!

Wait a minute –  Did I just say snow? As I type this blog I must add that it’s snowing. But

did I hear that on Wednesday it’s suppose to be 55 degrees – jumping for joy right now. Getting

excited over 55 degrees is sad but the reality is – in Wisconsin its like 90 degrees in Florida to us Wisconsinites.

Again some inspiring pieces added to my collection from Designer Phillip Lim

Target collection.

I really like the “BOOM” sweatshirt and joggers I found at Target.

The colors are great plus it add a lot of boldness to the outfit.

I decided to pair up the outfit with some Red Booties  that had been collecting

dust in my closet – for an added feature.

BLACK

as

1. lacking hue and brightness; absorbing light without reflecting any of the rays composing it.

2. characterized by absence of light; enveloped in darkness

 

Well I beg to differ – Black is a shade that define Beauty, Uniqueness, Creativity, Compassion, Self Awareness, Confidence, Equality, God-Fearing, and the list goes on.

 

Bottom Line is

I am a Black Queen and I see nothing about me that lack hue and brightness. Neither do I NOT reflect light. In fact I shine bright like a diamond.

 

My smile is a reflection of Genuine Love.

 

My Dark skin tells me I am a Woman who stands for BOLDNESS, A WARRIOR that comes equipped for all things.

 

My Black Is Beautiful – because I was formed in my mothers womb and for that purpose I can stand tall and walk boldly.

 

My Black has personality, style, a solid foundation, a platform to stand on, Strength, Courage, Brightness, Visibility, Passion, Compassion, Faith, Awareness, Determination……

Human Flower Girl

Today’s Post

During the spring-time it rain a lot. So much in fact I sometime can not take it.

But

After thinking if we didn’t get rain and the sun how would the Flowers grow so pretty and how would the tree get so tall and how would the grass become so green……etc!

In order for the Flowers to bloom they need much sun and water – I have learn to appreciate the rain.

It make everything so pretty.

Today’s post

As I was contemplating on what I should wear ~ hahaha My oldest son said mom you should wear that…….

and that is what I wore.

A dress I had handing on my clothing rack for quite sometime now – finally It’s dusted off and ready for a date with my body.

This eye-catching beauty has an amazing color. Anybody that know me knows I love adding color to my outfits.

This dress was easily pair with a pair of leopard calf hair heels with amazing studs to accentuate the look.

I couldn’t help to added these amazing crystallized tiger head earring as well ~ and not to mention the amazing leopard calf hair clutch I’ve had for many years.

My necklace was carefully picked out – I wanted to created a bold but subtle look.

Now this masterpiece of a BIG Bad Bold Bracelet OMG…………… Need I say more – This babe speaks for itself.

Finishing the look I added White nail polish to my nails and toes…… this was to add a pop to the look and it worked out just fine.

My rounded framed tortoise sunglasses – was just another added bonus – the look I was going for.

Today I felt like SUNSHINE – literally

Thanks to Kevin Jr. glowing eyes admiring his mother’s passion for fashion and helping me to piece together this stylish outfit to be able to sharing with everyone I must say I’M quite pleased.

Sexxy Dressy!

It was a gorgeous day an I wanted to start my summer off with an outfit that was tasteful and yet intriguing.

The weather was just gorgeous. 82 degrees & sunny

and did I mention I got my church flow on.

It’s awesome to get my praise on and come home ready to take pics for my fans.

Dress Appeal

Today’s Post

It’s not often that I incorporate a full dress to my fashion profile and really enjoy the way I styled it.

This dress has so much sex appeal from the waist belt to the cut-outs located on the sleeves of this beautiful masterpiece. The color of this beauty drew my attention right away. My understanding right away was that I could wear many colors to compliment this beauty and make it look even better.

This beautiful dress hung in my closet for two years and I finally decided to wear it. After looking at it I figured it was just to beautiful to continue let it keep hanging in my closet.

After careful consideration – I paired it with a turquoise necklace I purchased from Target a couple years ago and my Mary Jane heels( did you all notice the coral around the rim of these beauties – added bonus).

O’ yeah and this beautiful full dress was purchased from H&M.

Now I must admit that this BEAUTIFUL Vintage clutch purse enhance my look even more.

Purchased at a local thrift shop about 5yrs ago is no passe.

Although to some it may seem out dated – but it’s in perfect condition and it was a great find and bargain and addition to add.

The accessories was picked out carefully – I wanted to add boldness to my look

pairing these large hoop earring – I purchased at Dots clothing store more than 3yrs ago.

A BOLD bracelet purchased at Discovery clothing last yr.

Bangle purchased at a local beauty supply store was a great added bonus to finish the look.

A expandable Crystal colorful ring – purchased at Aldo

Jungle Love

Okay guys its personal…………….. I just got a thing for animal prints.

Leopard, Zebra, Tiger, Giraffe, Cheetah, and much more.

Okay now that you all got it~ I’m glad

Today’s post is inspired by this lovely vintage dress found at a local thrift shop.

I was taken in immediately by the color, the print, the hem, the beautifully designed top, the attached belt, the flow and most important the fit.

In reference to this great find ~ its never a dull moment when I frequent one of the local resale shops, local goodwill stores, and thrift shops. It’s always a blessing because – I find so many wonderful treasures.

If you haven’t already jumped on the bandwagon I challenge you to give it a try ~ you never know what you may find.
